New Delhi: The Centre for Trade and Investment Law (CTIL), an initiative by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, has announced recruitment for four legal positions—two Associates and two Young Professionals—to contribute towards critical legal and policy issues related to international trade and investment.
About CTIL
Established by the Government of India, CTIL serves as a premier think tank and advisory body supporting the Ministry of Commerce and other related agencies. It specializes in areas of World Trade Organization (WTO) law, Free Trade Agreements (FTAs), and broader international economic law. CTIL plays a vital role in enhancing India’s legal and strategic capacity in global trade discussions.

CTIL is looking to engage dynamic and research-oriented legal professionals who can contribute effectively to ongoing trade-related work, including multilateral and bilateral trade agreements.

- 2 Associates
- 2 Young Professionals
Eligibility Criteria
- Nationality: Applicants must be Indian citizens.
- Education: A Master’s degree in Law is preferred.
- Experience:
- Young Professional: Freshers or those with relevant exposure in trade and investment law.
- Associate: Professionals with demonstrable experience in relevant legal fields.
Salary Structure
- Young Professional (without experience): ₹50,000 per month
- Young Professional (with relevant experience): ₹60,000 per month
- Associate: ₹80,000 – ₹1,45,000 per month (commensurate with experience and qualifications)
