The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the UGC NET June 2025 notification on Wednesday, April 16, 2025. The application process is now live and interested candidates can apply online through the official website — ugcnet.nta.ac.in.

Application Fee
The fee for the UGC NET June 2025 examination varies according to the candidate’s category:
- General/Unreserved: ₹1150
- EWS/OBC-NCL: ₹600
- SC/ST/Third Gender/PwD: ₹325
The payment can be made online via Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.
Exam Pattern and Mode
The UGC NET June 2025 exam will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. It will comprise two papers, both featuring objective-type, multiple-choice questions:
- Paper 1:
- 50 questions (100 marks)
- General awareness and teaching/research aptitude
- Paper 2:
- 100 questions (200 marks)
- Based on the subject selected by the candidate
Duration: 3 hours (180 minutes) with no break between the two papers.
Marking Scheme: Each question carries 2 marks; there is no negative marking.
