Jodhpur, Rajasthan — National Law University, Jodhpur, one of India’s premier law schools, has officially announced its call for applications for Academic Fellowship positions for the year 2025. Established in 1999 by the Government of Rajasthan, NLU Jodhpur is renowned for its commitment to excellence in legal education, interdisciplinary research, and public service.
This opportunity is aimed at early-career legal academics who are looking to develop their careers in a vibrant, intellectually rich environment. The University is inviting applications for four (04) Academic Fellows in a range of law and allied disciplines. The last date for submission of online applications is May 10, 2025, by 11:59 PM.

Role and Responsibilities
The Academic Fellows will be expected to:
- Undertake independent and collaborative legal research projects.
- Assist in teaching and academic activities, as required by the University.
- Engage in interdisciplinary and policy-oriented research.
- Contribute to the intellectual growth of the institution under the mentorship of senior faculty members.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- LL.M. in Law from a recognized Indian or foreign university with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade.
- A strong academic record and a demonstrated inclination towards interdisciplinary legal research.
- Candidates with a relevant Master’s degree (other than LL.M.) must showcase a credible research background intersecting with law.
- Prior research experience, including fieldwork and data collection, will be considered an advantage.
- The applicant should have obtained their first undergraduate degree on or after January 1, 2020.

- Proposed Research Plan (750 words)
