NHM UP Invites Applications for 47 Consultant Vacancies: Apply Online by April 22, 2025

Opportunities for professionals with a wide range of qualifications and relevant experience in public health sector

Lucknow, April 2025:
The National Health Mission, Uttar Pradesh (NHM-UP) has released a notification inviting online applications from eligible candidates for 47 contractual Consultant posts at the state level. These include both fresh and backlog vacancies. The recruitment aims to strengthen the state's health system by onboarding qualified professionals on a contractual basis.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must hold any of the following degrees from a recognized institution/university:
MBBS, BDS, MBA, PGDBM, MPH, MHA, MSW, MCA, M.Com, LLB, M.Sc. (Nursing), B.E./B.Tech (IT/CS/AI/Data Science), PG in Microbiology/Social Science/Statistics/Mass Communication & Journalism/Development Studies, Inter CA/CS/ICWA.

• Essential Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant post-qualification experience is mandatory.
• Desirable Experience: Preference will be given to candidates with experience in data analysis and statistics.

Age Limit and Honorarium

• Age Limit: 21–45 years as on 22 April 2025.
• Age relaxations:
  • 5 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), SC, ST
  • 15 years for PwD candidates
  • Additional relaxation for ex-servicemen and current NHM-UP contractual employees
• Monthly Honorarium: Rs. 44,000

• Total Posts: 47
• Category-wise Distribution:
  • UR – 10, EWS – 2, OBC – 20, SC – 14, ST – 1
• Horizontal Reservation:
  • Women – 6, PwD – 3, Ex-Servicemen – 4, Freedom Fighter Dependent – 1

Selection Process

The selection will be based on the number of applications received:

1. If applications are ≤ 3 times the number of posts:
   Candidates will be directly called for Document Verification, followed by Personal Interview and Skill Test.

2. If applications exceed 3 times the posts:
   A Computer Based Test (CBT) will be conducted. Shortlisted candidates (in a 1:3 ratio) will be called for DVP, followed by Interview and Skill Test.

COVID-19 Experience Advantage:
Candidates with valid QR-based COVID duty certificates from UP public health facilities may receive up to 15% additional marks based on the duration of their service.

Important Instructions

• Ensure the form is fully filled and shows “Submitted Successfully” status.
• Applications once submitted cannot be edited.
• Only UP domicile candidates can claim reservations.
• Original documents must be produced during interview/verification.
• Appointment is purely contractual for one year, renewable based on performance and government approval.
• No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in CBT, DVP, Interview or Skill Test.
