National Moot Court Competition 2025: Quarter Final Round Commences with Enthusiasm and high dedication

College Principal Prof. Ajay Prakash Khare Sets the Tone for the Competition


The much-anticipated National Moot Court Competition 2025 commenced with an enthusiastic and warm welcome by the Principal of the host college, Prof. Ajay Prakash Khare. Addressing a packed auditorium filled with legal luminaries, professors, students, and aspiring advocates, Prof. Khare extended his heartfelt greetings to all present. He appreciated the presence of esteemed professors and practicing lawyers who had gathered to witness and evaluate the legal acumen of the participants.

Prof. Khare conveyed his best wishes to all the competing teams and acknowledged their dedication to the field of law. He also humbly apologized for the unexpected delay in the commencement of the event, attributing it to sudden adverse weather conditions which briefly disrupted the smooth execution of the schedule.

Draw of Lots and Allocation of Sides

Following the inaugural address, all participating teams were invited on stage for the draw of chits, a crucial step in determining their roles in the upcoming legal battles. The random selection process decided whether a team would represent the Petitioner or the Respondent. Based on the chits drawn, memorials were exchanged among the teams to allow adequate preparation ahead of their court presentations.
