Lucknow University Begins UG Admission Process for 2025–26 Session
LURN registration is now compulsory for all applicants
Lucknow, April 17, 2025:
Lucknow University has officially started the centralized undergraduate admission process for the academic year 2025–26. As per the latest notice issued by the university’s Office of the Admission, all students who wish to apply for undergraduate courses must first complete a new registration process.
This registration is called LURN, which stands for Lucknow University Registration Number. Without getting a LURN, students will not be allowed to apply for any undergraduate course in the university or its affiliated colleges.
What is LURN and Why is it Important?
LURN is a unique number that each student will get after registering on the university portal. This number will be required to fill the Online Admission Application Form (Programme wise) for the chosen course. LURN will also help the university manage and track applications easily in a centralized manner.
This step is made compulsory for all students, whether they are applying to Lucknow University or to any of its affiliated colleges.
When and Where to Register?
The registration for LURN started from April 17, 2025. Students must visit the university’s official website:
www.lkouniv.ac.in
On the homepage, they will find a link to the Samarth Portal, where the LURN registration form is available. Students should fill this form carefully with all correct details.
What Did the University Say?
Dr. Anitya Gaurav, who is the Admission Coordinator of Lucknow University, has signed the notice. He clearly mentioned that getting a LURN is the first and most important step for every student who wants admission. No student will be allowed to proceed with the admission process without LURN.
