India Post has officially released the 2nd Merit List for Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) Recruitment 2025 on its website indiapostgdsonline.cept.gov.in. Candidates who were not shortlisted in the first merit list can now check their names in the supplementary list-II, available in state-wise PDF format.

Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, North Eastern, Odisha, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, West Bengal.

Selection Criteria for GDS 2025

Candidates are shortlisted based on:

  • Marks obtained in the Secondary School Examination (Class 10th)
  • Preference and postal circle marked in the application

Shortlisted candidates in the 2nd list will now be called for document verification in their respective circles.

  3. Click on Supplementary List - II (2nd Merit List)
  4. Open the PDF and press Ctrl + F to search for your name or registration number
  5. Download and take a printout of the merit list for future reference

Next Step: Document Verification

Candidates whose names appear in the 2nd merit list must get their documents verified at their designated postal circle office within the time frame specified in the list. Failing to do so may result in disqualification.
