As part of its Diamond Jubilee Celebrations, CMP Degree College, a constituent PG college of the University of Allahabad, is set to host the 1st Choudhary Mahadeo Prasad National Moot Court Competition tomorrow in its Academic Auditorium Hall.

The event will witness participation from law students across the country and will be graced by eminent judges from the Allahabad High Court — Hon’ble Dr. Justice Gautam Chowdhary and Hon’ble Mr. Justice Anish Kumar Gupta — who will serve as the Chief Guest and Guest of Honour respectively.

Inauguration Ceremony: A Grand Commencement

The stage is set for the inauguration ceremony of the 1st Choudhary Mahadeo Prasad National Moot Court Competition, to be held tomorrow at CMP Degree College, Prayagraj. The event will witness the esteemed presence of Hon’ble Dr. Justice Gautam Chowdhary, Judge of the High Court of Judicature at Allahabad, as the Chief Guest, and Hon’ble Mr. Justice Anish Kumar Gupta, Judge of the Allahabad High Court, as the Guest of Honour.

Their participation will add immense value to the occasion, as they are expected to share their insights on legal ethics, advocacy, and the significance of moot court exercises in building a solid foundation for aspiring legal professionals.

The Valedictory Session of the event was held on the evening of April 13th, 2025 at 5:00 PM, also in the Academic Auditorium Hall. The same distinguished judges—Justice Gautam Chowdhary and Justice Anish Kumar Gupta—graced the event again, highlighting their commitment to nurturing young legal minds.
