BALLB Admissions to Begin Soon at Rajju Bhaiya University; Entrance Test Mandatory

University introduces seven new PG diploma courses for 2025–26 session; over 3 lakh seats across 700 colleges to be filled

Prayagraj, April 19 – Prof Rajendra Singh (Rajju Bhaiya) State University is set to commence the admission process for BA LLB and other professional courses for the academic session 2025–26 from next week. The process will cover over 3 lakh undergraduate and postgraduate seats across the university and its approximately 700 affiliated colleges.

Prof Rajendra Singh (Rajju Bhaiya) State University will soon begin the admission process for its BA LLB (Honors) programme for the academic session 2025–26. The university will conduct a Common Entrance Test (CET) for admission into this five-year, ten-semester integrated law course.

10+2 in any stream with 45% marks (42% for OBC and 40% in case of SC and ST category) from a recognized institution.

ENTRANCE TEST

The Test paper will have multiple-choice questions. 

The Test paper shall include 100 questions in all. 

Duration of the test will be of 120 minutes. 

The questions will be from Quantitative Ability, Data Interpretation, Reasoning, English Language Comprehension and General Awareness.

NEGATIVE MARKING IN CET: There will be no negative marking.

Entrance Test Mandatory for BA LLB and Other Professional Courses

According to Vice Chancellor Prof Akhilesh Kumar Singh, admission to the five-year integrated BA LLB programme, along with courses such as BBA, BCA, and BPharma, will be strictly based on an entrance examination. The entrance test is likely to be conducted in June 2025. Detailed exam schedules and syllabus will be announced on the official university website soon.

Mandatory Registration via Samarth Portal

The university has made it compulsory for all aspiring candidates to register on the Samarth portal to be eligible for admission to any course at the university or its affiliated colleges. The portal will host the online application process, which is expected to begin in the coming week.

Seven New Job-Oriented Diploma Courses Introduced

In a move to promote skill-based education, the university is launching seven new postgraduate diploma programmes this year. These include:

  • PG Diploma in Yoga
  • PG Diploma in Counselling
  • PG Diploma in Criminology and Criminal Justice
  • PG Diploma in NGO and Project Management
  • PG Diploma in Cybersecurity

The Department of Social Work will offer diplomas in Yoga, Criminology, and NGO Management; the Department of Psychology will handle the Counselling diploma; and the Department of Computer Science will offer Cybersecurity.

Admissions to these diploma courses will be based on merit, providing new opportunities for students aiming to enter professional and socially relevant fields.

Vice Chancellor Prof Singh emphasized that the university is committed to offering employment-oriented and multidisciplinary education in alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP).
