University of Allahabad Announces PGAT-2025 Registration Fee Structure
Separate Fee Rates for PGAT-I and PGAT-II Based on Course and Category
Prayagraj, April 23, 2025: The University of Allahabad has released the detailed registration fee structure for the Postgraduate Admission Test (PGAT)-2025, which will be held for admission to various postgraduate courses for the academic session 2025–2026. The fee details have been segregated based on the type of course (PGAT-I or PGAT-II) and the candidate’s category.
PGAT-I Registration Fees
Candidates applying for conventional postgraduate courses under PGAT-I will need to pay the following fees:

Unreserved (UR), Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), and Other Backward Classes (OBC):
Rs. 1000 -
Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Persons with Disabilities (PwD):
Rs. 500
These courses will be available in both online and offline modes.
PGAT-II Registration Fees
For non-conventional postgraduate courses under PGAT-II, the registration fees are as follows:

Unreserved (UR), EWS, and OBC:
Rs. 1600 -
SC, ST, and PwD:
Rs. 800
PGAT-II will be conducted only in online mode, and the list of courses falling under this category is available in the official PGAT-2025 information bulletin.

Advisory for Applicants
The University has advised all applicants to carefully check the eligibility criteria and the list of courses under PGAT-I and PGAT-II before making the payment. Candidates are also instructed to fill in their subject codes correctly while applying, as no changes will be allowed once the form is submitted.
Final Date for Registration
Online registration for PGAT-2025 will begin on April 25, 2025, and the last date to register is May 16, 2025. The application can be submitted through the official portal at https://aupraavesh2025.cbtexam.in.
