The prestigious HIMCAPES College of Law, known for its commitment to excellence in legal education, has announced the 2nd INTER LAW COLLEGE/UNIVERSITY MOOT COURT COMPETITION, 2025. Building on the remarkable success of its inaugural edition, the College invites participation from law institutions across India for a larger, more competitive second edition.

About HIMCAPES College of Law

Located amidst the scenic beauty of the Una District in Himachal Pradesh, HIMCAPES College of Law offers an ideal academic environment where students are nurtured to become leaders in the legal profession.
Affiliated with Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla, and approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI), the college offers a five-year integrated B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) program and a three-year LL.B. course. Through a combination of academic rigor and practical training, HIMCAPES has earned a reputation for producing law graduates who excel in both legal knowledge and practice.

About the Moot Court Competition

Organized by the Moot Court Society of HIMCAPES College of Law, the competition aims to simulate real-world courtroom experiences, helping budding lawyers hone their advocacy and research skills.
The 2nd edition seeks to build on the strong foundation laid previously, with an expanded reach and enhanced competitive spirit among law students nationwide.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Open to bona fide undergraduate students enrolled in either a three-year LL.B. or five-year B.A.LL.B. degree program recognized by the Bar Council of India.
  • Institutions are permitted to send multiple teams, with individual registration required for each team.

The event will be hosted at the lush and vibrant campus of:

HIMCAPES College of Law,
Badhera, Tehsil Haroli,
District Una, Himachal Pradesh – 177209.

Registration and Fee Details

  • Registration Fee: ₹5000 per team (inclusive of food and accommodation).
  • Note: The registration fee is non-refundable.

Interested teams must submit their soft copy of the Registration Form and Travel & Accommodation Form by 26th April, 2025.
The soft copy of the Memorial is also due by 26th April, 2025, while the hard copy of the Memorial must reach by 27th April, 2025.
