About HIMCAPES College of Law

Nestled in the picturesque hills of Una District, Himachal Pradesh, HIMCAPES College of Law is affiliated with Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla, and is approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI). The college offers both the five-year integrated B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) program and the three-year LL.B. course. Renowned for its focus on academic rigor and practical exposure, HIMCAPES continues to produce law graduates equipped to meet the challenges of the legal profession.

Details of the Competition

Organized by the Moot Court Society of HIMCAPES College of Law, this prestigious event invites participation from undergraduate law students across India. The competition simulates real courtroom experiences, encouraging teams to demonstrate legal reasoning, advocacy skills, and command over legal procedures.

Eligibility Criteria

• Open to undergraduate students enrolled in a three-year LL.B. or five-year B.A. LL.B. degree program.
• Institutions must be recognized by the Bar Council of India (BCI).
• Multiple teams from a single institution are allowed, but each team must register individually.

Registration and Fees

• Registration Fee: Rs. 5,000 per team (inclusive of food and accommodation)
• The fee is non-refundable

• Runners-Up: Rs. 10,000/-, Trophy & Certificate
• Best Speaker: Rs. 5,000/-, Trophy & Certificate
