The CUET UG 2025 participating universities list has been updated. As per the latest update, CUET UG 2025 scores will be accepted by 205 universities. The NTA has removed several state, private, deemed, and government institutes. However, the number of CUET 2025 central universities remains unchanged.
Candidates must appear for the CUET UG 2025 exam for admission to participating universities. The CUET 2025 exam is scheduled to be held from May 8 to June 1, 2025, in CBT mode. Candidates must apply on the official websites of the accepting universities to participate in the admission process.

Central Universities
The number of universities remains unchanged. Since the NTA has not removed any central university from its list.
State Universities
Originally the number of state universities participating in the CUET UG 2025 was 40+. With the update list, the NTA has removed around 10+ universities from the list of participating universities
Private Universities
Previously, 170+ universities participated in CUET UG 2025, offering admission to undergraduate programs based on CUET scores. However, with the updated list, only 102 universities will now accept CUET UG 2025 scores for admission. This means that the NTA has removed over 70 universities from the list of participating institutions.
Deemed Universities
Originally, 30+ deemed universities participated in CUET UG 2025, offering admission to undergraduate programs through CUET scores. However, with the updated list, only 20+ universities remain part of the admission process. This means that the NTA has removed around 10+ deemed universities from the list of participating institutions.
Other Government Institutions
Earlier, around 10 government institutions were participating in CUET UG 2025 for undergraduate admissions. However, with the updated list, 3 institutions have been removed, leaving only 7 government institutions that will accept CUET UG 2025 scores for admission.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has removed 106 universities. The majority of universities removed are private universities, followed by state and deemed universities. Candidates can check the updated list of CUET-accepting universities for 2025 by following the steps below:
