RRB Group D Vacancy 2025: Last Date for Application Today, Correction Window Opens on March 4
The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has announced the last date for RRB Group D Vacancy 2025 applications as March 1, 2025. Candidates who wish to apply for the 32,438 available posts must complete their applications today. The correction window for submitted applications will be open from March 4 to March 13, 2025. RRB Group D Vacancy 2025: Important Details
1. Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must have passed Class 10 (or ITI) from a recognized institution to be eligible for these positions.
2. Age Limit
- The age limit for general category candidates is 18 to 36 years.
- OBC candidates get a 3-year relaxation, making their upper age limit 39 years.
- SC/ST candidates get a 5-year relaxation, making their upper age limit 41 years.
- Age is calculated as of January 1, 2025.
- The maximum age limit was extended by three years due to delays caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
3. Reserved Category Certificates
- SC/ST/OBC/EWS candidates must ensure that their caste certificates are issued before February 22, 2025.

RRB Group D Selection Process
The selection process includes:
- Computer-Based Test (CBT) – Candidates must clear a 90-minute online exam with 100 multiple-choice questions covering:
- Mathematics – 25 questions
- General Science – 25 questions
- General Intelligence & Reasoning – 30 questions
- General Awareness & Current Affairs – 20 questions
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET) – Shortlisted candidates from CBT must qualify PET, which includes:
- Men: Carrying 35 kg weight for 100 meters in 2 minutes and running 1000 meters in 4 min 15 sec.
- Women: Carrying 20 kg weight for 100 meters in 2 minutes and running 1000 meters in 5 min 40 sec.

Negative Marking in CBT
- One-third of the marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
