Strengthening Legal Scholarship and Research

Dr. Rajendra Prasad National Law University (RPNLU), Prayagraj, and the National Law University (NLU), Delhi, have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance academic collaboration, foster research, and build intellectual capacity in the field of law.

The MoU was formally signed by Senior Prof. (Dr.) Usha Tandon, Vice-Chancellor of RPNLU, and Prof. (Dr.) GS Bajpai, Vice-Chancellor of NLU Delhi. This strategic partnership is expected to facilitate the exchange of knowledge and expertise, reinforcing both institutions' commitment to legal education and research.

Objectives of the Collaboration

The MoU aims to establish a robust research-oriented framework that encourages interdisciplinary academic engagement. The key objectives include:

• Conducting joint research projects on contemporary legal issues.
• Organizing seminars, conferences, and workshops to facilitate legal discourse.
• Strengthening faculty and researcher exchange programs.
• Promoting knowledge-sharing initiatives among legal scholars, students, and practitioners.
• Providing research scholarships and academic training programs for students.

Faculty and Researcher Exchange Programs

A significant aspect of the MoU is the facilitation of faculty and researcher exchange programs. This initiative will allow scholars from both universities to collaborate, contribute to ongoing legal debates, and bring diverse perspectives to legal studies. Remarks by Vice-Chancellor of RPNLU

Speaking on the occasion, Senior Prof. (Dr.) Usha Tandon emphasized the importance of inter-institutional collaborations in enhancing legal scholarship. She stated that this partnership would significantly contribute to the RPNLU research ecosystem and open new avenues for scholarly exchange.
