Mangal Pandey Study Circle Successfully Organizes UPSC Seminar

Winners of Previously Held Competitions Were Honored

Mangal Pandey Study Circle today organized a grand UPSC seminar and talent felicitation ceremony at the Sagar Academy auditorium on Bank Road. Hundreds of aspirants preparing for the UPSC exams participated in the seminar and received valuable guidance from experts. The primary objective of the seminar was to provide aspirants with a clear understanding of the right strategy, syllabus, and exam process for the UPSC written examination. Following the seminar, winners of competitions organized by Mangal Pandey Study Circle were also honored.

The seminar had Prof. Girish Chandra Tripathi, former Vice-Chancellor, as the chief guest. In addition, the key speaker, former IPS officer Jugal Kishore Tiwari, and special guest, former IG K.P. Singh, provided further guidance to the aspirants. Director of the prestigious Sagar IAS Academy, O.P. Shukla, was also present at the event.

Chief Guest Prof. Girish Chandra Tripathi emphasized the importance of the UPSC exam, noting that it is not just a gateway to administrative services but also a significant opportunity to bring about positive societal change. He advised the aspirants to prepare with discipline, consistent practice, and self-confidence. Prof. Tripathi further highlighted the connection between institutions, society, and individuals, stating that a society where individuals contribute more to the community than they take progresses, while one where people take more than they give falls behind, hampering overall development.

Key speaker Jugal Kishore Tiwari discussed various aspects of the UPSC exam in detail. He provided insights into the structure of the prelims, mains, and interview stages of the exam and emphasized the utility of NCERT books in preparation.

Special guest K.P. Singh, along with other speakers, also shared important points and practical advice related to the examination, offering valuable insights to the aspirants.

Founder member of Mangal Pandey Study Circle, Karnal Mishra, stated that the seminar's objective was not only to provide guidance for the UPSC exam but also to make aspirants aware of their responsibilities towards society. He announced that similar seminars would be organized in the future to benefit even more candidates. The participants found the seminar to be highly beneficial and expressed a desire for more such activities in the future. Members of the Study Circle, including Azad Mishra, Abhishek Pathak, Anurag, Divyanshi, and Rishabh, were present during the event.
