Prestigious Legal Battle to Witness Budding Advocates from Across the Nation
Prayagraj, India – March 2025: The esteemed CMP Degree College, a constituent PG college of the University of Allahabad, has officially announced the Chaudhary Mahadev Prasad National Moot Court Competition, 2025, as part of its Diamond Jubilee Celebrations. This highly anticipated event aims to provide law students across India with a platform to showcase their advocacy and legal reasoning skills in a simulated courtroom setting.
Event Highlights & Schedule
The competition will be conducted in two key stages:

Preliminary Elimination Rounds (Online) – 3rd April 2025
- Registered teams will submit memorials and participate in Preliminary Round 1 and Preliminary Round 2 through an online mode.
- Memorials will be evaluated based on a strict marking scheme, and qualifying teams will move to the Advanced Rounds.

Advanced Rounds (Offline) – 13th April 2025
- The Quarter-Finals, Semi-Finals, and Final Round will be conducted at CMP Degree College, Prayagraj.
- The rounds will be judged by eminent legal professionals and academicians.

- Runner-up: INR 25,000
- Best Speaker: INR 7,000
- Best Memorial: INR 7,000
Who Can Participate?
- Law students enrolled in a 3-year LLB or 5-year Integrated LLB program from any BCI-recognized institution in India.
- A maximum of two teams per institution will be allowed to register.
REGISTRATION PROCEDURE:
Online registrations are open from 14th January, 2025. The teams must register online by 24th March, 2025 before 11:59:59 PM. The registration shall be done by filling up the registration form available at:

a) Registration shall be in two phases separately for online and offline rounds. Link for registration of teams for offline round shall be provided after online rounds only to the teams advancing to offline rounds.
b) The registration shall be considered complete only when the 'Registration Fee' has been paid successfully and the registration form is duly filled with all the credentials.
c) The participants will receive an official approval mail from organizing committee carrying the 'Team Code' within a week of registration or earlier. The code shall remain the same both for online and offline round, irrespective of two phases of registration. The teams shall quote this team code in all further communications with the organizing committee.
d) The team shall nominate one team member to be the 'contact person'. This person will be responsible for all the official communication between the organizers and the team.
e) Registration fee once paid is non-refundable.
f) The registration fee per team for the online round (pre 1 & pre 2) of the competition is 1500 INR.
g) The teams qualifying for the quarter finals and further (offline round) shall have to pay 3500 INR, which includes accommodation for the said teams, from 12th April 2025 (1 pm onwards) till 14th April 2025 (11 am), in addition to the previous fee of 1500 INR, before the specified deadline, as communicated through official mail after the declaration of results of the Top 8 teams from the preliminary round (online).
