Prayagraj, March 20 – A crucial meeting was held today at the North Hall of the University of Allahabad under the chairmanship of Vice-Chancellor Prof. Sangeeta Srivastava. Formation of a Committee for Implementation of the Four-Year Undergraduate Program

In accordance with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, a four-year undergraduate program (FYUP) is set to be introduced at the university. A special committee has been formed to oversee the successful implementation of this curriculum. This committee will work in coordination with the department heads and faculty deans to draft a comprehensive framework for the syllabus. The final proposal will be presented in the upcoming meeting of the Academic Council for approval.

Introduction of a Five-Year Integrated Course in Yoga and Nutrition

One of the significant decisions taken in the meeting was the introduction of a new five-year integrated course in Yoga and Nutrition. The course will be launched from the current academic session and is expected to provide students with in-depth knowledge in these fields, aligning with the growing importance of holistic health and wellness.
