Delhi University UG Admission 2025: Website Launched, Information Bulletin Released

Delhi University (DU) has officially launched its UG admission website and released the information bulletin for the 2025-26 academic year. Candidates seeking admission to undergraduate (UG) courses at DU can now check all the details at admission.uod.ac.in.

Admission Process: CUET UG 2025 and CSAS UG 2025

Admission to all undergraduate programmes at Delhi University will be based on the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG 2025), except for a few categories like the School of Open Learning (SOL), Non-Collegiate Women Education Board (NCWEB), and foreign nationals.

DU UG admission will be conducted in two parts:

  1. CUET UG 2025 – Candidates must appear for the Common University Entrance Test in the relevant subjects.
  2. CSAS UG 2025 – After qualifying for CUET UG, candidates must participate in the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) for admission to various DU colleges.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates must have passed Class 12 or its equivalent from a recognized board or foreign institution recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
  • Students should appear for CUET UG 2025 in the same subjects they studied in Class 12.
  • If a subject is not available in CUET UG, candidates should choose a similar or closely related subject.
  • Example: If a student studied Biochemistry in Class 12, they should appear for Biology in CUET UG. At least 50% of the syllabus of the chosen subject must match the Class 12 syllabus.

No Age Bar for Admission

  • There is no minimum age limit for DU UG admissions, except for courses regulated by bodies like:
    • Medical Council of India (MCI)
    • All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE)
    • Bar Council of India (BCI)
    • National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE)
    • Dental Council of India (DCI)

Gap Year Not a Barrier

  • Students who have taken a gap year after Class 12 are eligible for admission but must appear for CUET UG 2025.

Dual Degree Allowed

  • Students can pursue two regular degree programs simultaneously, either both from DU or one from another university.
  • They can also enroll in part-time diploma/certificate courses from DU departments or colleges.

Seat Allocation and Admission Criteria

  • Admissions will be strictly based on CUET UG 2025 scores in a combination of languages, domain-specific subjects, and/or the General Aptitude Test (GAT), as required by the programme.
  • Candidates must complete the CSAS UG 2025 registration at admission.uod.ac.in to secure a seat.
