Annual Undergraduate Exams Begin at Allahabad University with Over 90% Attendance

Allahabad – The undergraduate annual examinations at Allahabad University (AU) and its affiliated colleges commenced on Tuesday, witnessing an impressive attendance rate of over 90% on the first day. According to the data released by PRO Prof. Jaya Kapoor, students turned up in large numbers, ensuring a smooth and disciplined start to the examinations.

Near Perfect Attendance in Some Subjects

In certain subjects, student attendance was nearly 100%, reflecting their dedication and academic commitment. Specifically, in the BA Final Year Arabic and Persian (First Paper), a 100% attendance rate was recorded. Similarly, in the BA Final Year Sanskrit (First Paper), 280 out of 284 students appeared, marking a 98.59% attendance rate.

B.Com Final Year Sees Highest Attendance Rate

The B.Com Final Year (First Paper) witnessed one of the highest attendance percentages, with 582 out of 583 registered students appearing for the examination, resulting in an impressive 99.83% attendance rate.

Affiliated Colleges Also Record High Attendance

Not just the main university, but the constituent colleges affiliated with AU also reported a strong turnout, with attendance exceeding 90% across various subjects.

The university administration expressed satisfaction with the discipline and enthusiasm shown by the students on the first day of the exams. The exams are being conducted with strict adherence to rules and regulations to ensure fair and smooth proceedings.

With such a high attendance rate on the very first day, the university anticipates a successful examination session, setting a positive tone for the upcoming exam days.
