Allahabad University Issues Mandatory Invigilation Duty Notification for Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff
Annual Examination Schedule Announced
The University of Allahabad has released an official notification regarding invigilation duty for the upcoming annual examinations of B.A./B.Sc./B.Sc. (Family & Community Sciences)/B.Com. Part I, II & III for the 2024-25 session. The examinations are set to commence on March 18, 2025, and will be conducted in two shifts:
- Morning Shift: 7:00 A.M. – 10:00 A.M.
- Evening Shift: 2:30 P.M. – 5:30 P.M.
Mandatory Invigilation Duty for Staff
As per the notification issued by A.K. Kanojia, Controller of Examinations, it has been made mandatory for all teaching and non-teaching staff to undertake invigilation duties during the examinations. The notification urges all concerned faculty and employees to ensure their presence and assist in the smooth conduct of examinations.
Directive to Heads of Departments
The Heads, Directors, and Coordinators of various departments, institutes, and centers at the university have been instructed to relieve the assigned teachers and employees from their regular duties on the exam days to ensure seamless invigilation.
Copies Circulated for Compliance
For proper implementation, the notification has been circulated to the following officials:
- The Dean (Arts, Science, Commerce, Law, College Development, and Students' Welfare)
- The Registrar, Finance Officer, Proctor, and Librarian of the University
- Deputy Controllers of Examinations
- Joint/Deputy/Assistant Registrars (Exams/Accounts/Admin)
- SVC for submission to the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor
