World Organisation of Students & Youth (WOSY) organised Global Dialogue on Culture and Sustainability at MNNIT Allahabad, Prayagraj
Prayagraj, February 8, 2025: The World Organisation of Students and Youth (WOSY) organised an International Conference themed "Global Dialogue on Culture and Sustainability" at Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology (MNNIT), Allahabad.
The event brought together experts, student leaders, and scholars from 25+ countries to discuss the importance of Mahakumbh in Indian culture.
Shri Virendra Singh Solanki, National General Secretary, ABVP, delivered a powerful speech on the History of Mahakumbh and the measures taken by the Government to ensure sustainability in the Mahakumbh area.
Prof. Sangita Srivastava, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor University of Allahabad emphasized on the cultural exchange through student interaction. She also interacted with the students in their local languages.
Senior Advocate Ashok Mehta & Advocate Rahul Tyagi talked about the relevance of the Ancient Indian Jurisprudence in the contemporary context. They lectured the students about the Harmonization of Ancient Indian Jurisprudence, Sustainability & Global Justice.
Shree Sharad Vivek Sagar Ji spoke about Cultural Heritage Preservation: Sustaining the past for the future and interacted with the students.

Shri Shubham Goyal, General Secretary, WOSY, introduced the theme. Dr. Nitin Sharma, Chairperson, WOSY, spoke on the need for cultural cooperation in sustainability efforts, urging youth to take action.
Prof. Rama Shankar Verma, Director, MNNIT, presented India’s cultural diversity and Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam (The World is One Family), emphasizing its relevance today.
The event concluded with Ms. Nikita Reddy, National Convener, WOSY, delivering a vote of thanks. The convention successfully highlighted the importance of cultural preservation in building a sustainable future, reinforcing WOSY’s mission to empower youth for global impact.
Thereafter the 120+ delegates of 25+ were taken to the Mahakumbh to showcase the Indian Culture and Traditions. Where they met saints and Sanyasis.
