समाज सुधारक के साथ दार्शनिक विद्वान थे महर्षि दयानन्द

 इलाहाबाद विश्वविद्यालय के संस्कृत विभाग में आयोजित भारतीय ज्ञान परंपरा एवं महर्षि दयानन्द विषय पर अंतरराष्ट्रीय संगोष्ठी हुई। 

मुख्य वक्ता प्रो. धर्मेन्द्र कुमार शास्त्री ने कहा कि महर्षि दयानन्द समाज सुधारक के साथ एक दार्शनिक विद्वान एवं शिक्षाशास्त्री भी थे। मुख्य अतिथि केन्द्रीय संस्कृत विश्वविद्यालय गंगानाथ झा परिसर के निदेशक प्रो. ललित कुमार त्रिपाठी के अनुसार, संस्कृत के विद्यार्थी को अवश्य ही स्वामी दयानन्द को अवश्य ही पढ़ना चाहिए। 

स्वामी के ग्रन्थों में आने वाले विश्व मानव समुदाय के चित्र को प्रदर्शित करता है। प्रो. ओम प्रकाश पांडेय ने सायणभाष्य पर भी ऐतिहासिक एवं ज्ञानपरक प्रकाश डाला। इस अवसर पर प्रो. सुधीर कुमार आर्य, प्रो. एआर सिद्दीकी, डॉ. अमृता, प्रो. कुमार वीरेन्द्र आदि मौजूद रहे।

The keynote speaker, Prof. Dharmendra Kumar Shastri, emphasized that Maharshi Dayanand was not only a social reformer but also a profound philosopher and educationist. His works reflect his vision for the upliftment of society and the revival of Vedic knowledge.

The chief guest, Prof. Lalit Kumar Tripathi, Director of Central Sanskrit University, Gangnath Jha Campus, stressed that students of Sanskrit must read and understand Maharshi Dayanand’s works. His teachings provide valuable insights into Indian philosophy and societal transformation.

Prof. Om Prakash Pandey delivered an insightful discourse on the historical and scholarly significance of Sayana Bhashya, shedding light on its interpretative depth and relevance.

Several renowned scholars, including Prof. Sudhir Kumar Arya, Prof. A.R. Siddiqui, Dr. Amrita, and Prof. Kumar Virendra, attended the seminar, contributing to an enriching discussion on Indian knowledge traditions and Maharshi Dayanand’s legacy.

The seminar concluded with an interactive session where participants deliberated on the relevance of Maharshi Dayanand’s teachings in contemporary times.
