New Delhi, February 25, 2025: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the admit cards for the Joint CSIR-UGC NET Examination, December 2024. Candidates appearing for the exam can now download their admit cards from the official website https://csirnet.nta.ac.in using their Application Number and Date of Birth.
Exam Schedule and Shifts
The CSIR-UGC NET December 2024 examination will be conducted in a Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode for awarding Junior Research Fellowships (JRF), appointments as Assistant Professors, and admissions to Ph.D. programs. The exam is scheduled from February 28 to March 2, 2025, with subject-wise shifts as follows:

February 28, 2025:
- Mathematical Sciences – 9 AM to 12 Noon
- Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean, and Planetary Sciences – 3 PM to 6 PM
- Chemical Sciences – 3 PM to 6 PM

March 1, 2025:
- Life Sciences (Shift-1) – 9 AM to 12 Noon
- Life Sciences (Shift-2) – 3 PM to 6 PM

March 2, 2025:
- Physical Sciences – 9 AM to 12 Noon
Important Instructions for Candidates
NTA has issued a set of guidelines for candidates appearing for the CSIR-UGC NET December 2024 exam:
- The Admit Card is issued provisionally to the candidates, subject to their eligibility verification.
- Admit Cards will not be sent via post, and candidates must download them from the official website.
- Candidates must not mutilate or alter their Admit Card in any way.
- The issuance of an Admit Card does not confirm eligibility, as it will be verified at later stages of the admission or selection process.
- Candidates are strongly advised to preserve a copy of their Admit Card for future reference.
