NEET UG 2025: The National Testing Agency, NTA, will soon activate the registration link for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test Undergraduate, NEET UG 2025. Candidates aspiring to appear for the NEET UG 2025 exam can apply through the official website, neet.nta.nic.in.
With proper preparation, students can crack the NEET 2025 exam. The syllabus involves topics such as physics, chemistry, and biology. Moreover, the NTA has eliminated the optional questions so that the candidate has to answer all 180 questions in the examination. Recently, NTA has also confirmed that the NEET UG 2025 will be conducted in one shift through OMR pen-paper mode. A total of 108,940 MBBS seats will be available through this examination.
NEET UG 2025: Exam Pattern
The NEET UG 2025 exam will be available in 13 languages: English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
From the marking scheme, it is evident that 4 marks are given for each right answer, and 1 mark is deducted for each incorrect response. However, marks will not be deducted for any unattempted question.
In Physics, 45 questions have to be attempted; in Chemistry, also 45 questions have to be attempted; and in Biology, 90 questions have to be attempted, consisting of both Botany and Zoology, amounting to 720 marks. The exam duration is 3 hours. The complete syllabus is available in the official exam brochure on the official website of NEET.
The NTA has also clarified that an APAAR ID is not required for registration. To be eligible, candidates must have passed their board exam last year or be currently enrolled in Class 12.
