National Testing Agency will soon commence the CUET UG 2025 registrations at exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG. Candidates seeking admission to central, state, private, deemed or Government institutions must fill the CUET online form when released. NTA will activate the CUET UG 2025 login window at cuetug.ntaonline.in. candidates applying for CUET UG 2025 must ensure to check the eligibility criteria, required documents, subject mapping and application fee.
CUET UG 2025 exam will be scheduled in May/June 2025. CUET UG will be a computer-based test held across various centres in India. Earlier, NTA made changes in the CUET exam pattern and subject choice. Candidate will be able to choose up to five subjects irrespective of the subjects studied in class 12th.

I want to apply for Law course, what subject should I choose?
In a recent notification, UGC has removed the legal studies as CUET domain subject. As per the UGC guidelines, deleted subjects can be replaced with General Aptitude Test. UGC has suggested the removal of six domain subjects which are: Entrepreneurship, Teaching Aptitude, Fashion Studies, Tourism, Legal Studies, and Engineering Graphics.

To take admission to CUET accepting university, candidates who will appear for CUET 2025 exam must register on the online counselling portal of the accepting universities. UGC Announced Revised Exam Pattern for CUET UG
UGC has introduced several changes in CUET UG 2025. As per the latest updates, the following changes will be implemented from CUET 2025 onwards:
- Applicants can choose any CUET subject, regardless of their class 12th subjects.
- CUET UG will be a CBT (Computer-Based Test) exam.
- CUET UG subjects have been reduced from 63 to 37. Removed subjects are: Engineering Graphics, Entrepreneurship, Fashion Studies, Legal Studies, Teaching Aptitude, and Tourism.
- CUET UG duration will be uniform for each subject i.e., 60 minutes.
- Question paper will have 50 questions. All compulsory to attempt.
- Admissions for courses mapping CUET subjects that have been removed will be based on General Aptitude Test scores.

CUET 2025 Update: When will NTA release CUET UG cut off?
NTA releases the CUET application form, admit card, answer key and results. The role of NTA ends after the declaration of results. CUET UG cut off will be released by the accepting universities individually after the CUET results are announced. Does NTA prescribe any passing marks for CUET UG?
No, NTA does not prescribe CUET UG passing marks. To know if candidate has qualified the CUET examination, he/she must meet the cut off criteria of the institute they have applied. To secure seat in top CUET college, candidate must score a minimum of 900 score in four subjects.

Can I get into IIT or IIM by CUET UG?
No, candidates cannot get into IIT or IIM with the CUET UG score. Admission to IIT or IIM is conducted through its entrance examination or other national-level entrance examinations. CUET UG score is accepted by more than 280 institutes across India including University of Delhi, Banaras Hindu University, Jawaharlal Nehru University, aligarh Muslim University and more.

Is CUET easier than JEE?
Based on the CUET syllabus and JEE syllabus, CUET is easier than JEE examination. The difficulty level of the JEE examination is higher as it covers difficulty topics,and class 11th and 12th syllabus. Whereas, CUET UG covers only class 12th NCERT syllabus which can be prepared along with the Boards.
