ICSSR Collaborative Project Invites Applications for Research Staff Positions
The Department of Geography at the University of Allahabad, a central university based in Prayagraj, has released an advertisement inviting applications for various research staff positions under the Collaborative Empirical Research Project on Jal Jeevan Mission, supported by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR). The project, titled “Strategic Water Management for Sustainability: A Comparative Study of Potable Water Supply in Churu District, Rajasthan, and Ladakh UT,” is being led by Dr. Pawan Kumar Sharma, Associate Professor in the department.
Positions Available
The recruitment is for the following temporary positions:
1. Research Associate
Number of Positions: 1
Monthly Remuneration: ₹47,000/- (Consolidated)
Qualification: Postgraduate degree in a Social Science discipline with a minimum of 55% marks and NET/SLET/M.Phil./Ph.D. along with two years of research experience as a Research Assistant in any project.
2. Research Assistant
Number of Positions: 1
Monthly Remuneration: ₹37,000/- (Consolidated)
Qualification: Postgraduate degree in a Social Science discipline with a minimum of 55% marks and NET/SLET/M.Phil./Ph.D.
3. Field Investigator
Number of Positions: 1
Monthly Remuneration: ₹20,000/- (Consolidated)
Qualification: Postgraduate degree in a Social Science discipline with a minimum of 55% marks.
Key Instructions and Guidelines
1. The positions are purely temporary and will terminate with the conclusion of the project.
2. Reservation policy as per central government norms will apply.
