पैरेंटिंग केवल जैविक संतान तक सीमित नहीं : डॉ. संदीप

इलाहाबाद विश्वविद्यालय के मनोविज्ञान विभाग की ओर से रविवार को पैरेंटिंग कार्यशाला का आयोजन किया गया। हाइब्रिड मोड में आयोजित कार्यशाला में महाराष्ट्र, मध्य प्रदेश सहित विभिन्न राज्यों से अभिभावकों, शिक्षकों, काउंसलरों और शोधकर्ताओं ने भाग लिया। मुख्य वक्ता डॉ. संदीप आनंद ने पैरेंटिंग को व्यक्तित्व निर्माण और राष्ट्र निर्माण से जोड़ते हुए इसके महत्व पर प्रकाश डाला। उन्होंने कहा कि पैरेंटिंग केवल जैविक संतान तक सीमित नहीं होती, बल्कि यह सामाजिक परिवर्तन का एक सशक्त माध्यम और अमरत्व प्राप्त करने का अवसर भी है। उन्होंने पैरेंटिंग को एक ‘दोतरफा दर्पण बताया, जिसमें माता-पिता और बच्चे एक-दूसरे के संस्कार और अंतःकरण का प्रतिबिंब देख सकते हैं।

मनोविज्ञान विभाग के अध्यक्ष डॉ. चंद्रांशु सिन्हा ने कहा कि पैरेंटिंग का तात्पर्य बच्चे के पालन-पोषण की जटिलताओं से है। आधुनिक दौर में पैरेंटिंग कार्यशालाओं के महत्व को रेखांकित किया और कहा कि ऐसी पहल अभिभावकों को जागरूक बनाने और समाज में सकारात्मक बदलाव लाने में सहायक होती हैं। प्रो. रुचिका वर्मा ने वैदिक दृष्टिकोण से पैरेंटिंग पर अपने विचार साझा किए। प्रो. वर्मा ने वैदिक पद्धति के पांच प्रमुख सिद्धांतों पर जोर दिया, जो आधुनिक अभिभावकों को संतुलित और सकारात्मक पेरेंटिंग के लिए मार्गदर्शन कर सकते हैं। इस अवसर पर प्रो. नरसिंह कुमार और रितु सुरेका आदि मौजूद रहे।

The Psychology Department of Allahabad University organized a hybrid-mode parenting workshop on Sunday, which witnessed participation from parents, teachers, counselors, and researchers across various states, including Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh.

Parenting: A Reflection of Values and Character

Dr. Sandeep Anand, the keynote speaker, highlighted the profound role of parenting in shaping personalities and building the nation. He stated that parenting is not confined to biological children but serves as a powerful medium for social transformation and an opportunity for achieving immortality. Describing parenting as a "two-way mirror," he explained that parents and children reflect each other's values and conscience.

Complexities of Parenting in Modern Times

Dr. Chandranshu Sinha, Head of the Psychology Department, discussed the complexities of child-rearing and the growing importance of such workshops in modern times. He emphasized that these initiatives play a vital role in creating awareness among parents and fostering positive societal change.

Insights from Vedic Perspective

Prof. Ruchika Verma shared her insights on parenting from a Vedic perspective, emphasizing five key principles that can guide modern parents toward balanced and positive parenting. Her presentation provided a blend of traditional wisdom and practical advice.

The event concluded with remarks from Prof. Narsingh Kumar and Ritu Sureka, who also contributed to the discussions. The workshop underscored the importance of collective efforts in enhancing parenting practices to build a harmonious society.
