As of January 25, 2025, the Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have not yet released the official exam dates for the Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) recruitment. However, it is anticipated that the Computer-Based Test (CBT) 1 for both undergraduate and graduate-level posts will be conducted between March and April 2025. Candidates are advised to regularly check the official RRB website for the most recent updates. 

The RRB NTPC 2025 recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 11,558 vacancies, with 8,113 positions allocated for graduate-level posts and 3,445 for undergraduate-level posts. The selection process includes multiple stages: an initial Computer-Based Test (CBT 1), followed by CBT 2 for graduate-level posts, and subsequently, a Typing Skill Test (TST) or Computer-Based Aptitude Test (CBAT), depending on the specific requirements of the position. 

Once the exam schedule is announced, candidates can follow these steps to check it:

1. Visit the official website of the RRB under which you have applied.

2. Locate and click on the notification link for the NTPC exam schedule corresponding to your application (undergraduate or graduate level).

Selection Process

The RRB NTPC 2025 selection process comprises of Computer Based Test (CBTs) followed by “Computer based Typing Skill Test (TST) wherever applicable for undergraduate posts and for graduate-level posts, there shall be two stage Computer Based Test (CBTs) followed by “Computer-based Aptitude Test (CBAT)/ Typing Skill Test (TST) wherever applicable”.
