RRB Recruitment 2025 Registration: The Railway Recruitment Board has started the application process for the recruitment of various Level 1 positions. This year, the Board aims to fill 32438 positions in Level 1 of the 7th CPC pay matrix. Interested candidates can apply on the official website of the RRBs at rrbapply.gov.in.

RRB Recruitment 2025 Registration: Vacancies

RRB Recruitment 2025 Registration: Eligibility
The age limit should be 18 to 36 years as of January 1, 2025. Furthermore, as a one-time measure due to the Covid-19 pandemic, an age relaxation of 3 years has been granted to candidates who might have missed previous recruitment opportunities.
Candidates should ensure that they meet the medical standards required for the positions they have chosen. If a candidate fails to pass the prescribed medical examination for a selected post, they will not be considered for that position, and no alternative appointment will be offered.
The initial pay will be Rs 18000, as per the official notification. Candidates should note that the date of birth filled in the application should be the same as recorded in the Matriculation /SSLC or an equivalent certificate.
RRB Recruitment 2025 Registration: Application Fees
For the RRB Group D Recruitment 2025, candidates are required to pay an application fee of Rs500. This fee will be refunded, after deducting bank charges, once the candidate appears for the CBT.
Applicants belonging to categories such as PWBD, female, transgender, ex-servicemen, SC, ST, minority communities, and EBC are required to pay only Rs. 250. This amount will also be refunded after deducting bank charges.
As mentioned in the notification, candidates must ensure that they fulfil the prescribed medical standards for the post(s) they are opting for.
RRB Recruitment 2025 Registration: Steps to apply
It is important to note that details filled in the ‘create an account’ form (including mobile number and Email ID) and chosen railway cannot be modified at any stage once the account is created.
Candidates should enter their name, father’s name and date of birth as recorded in the SSLC/ Matriculation/SSC. Further, aspirants need to enter the roll number, certificate number and year of passing of SSLC/Matriculation/SSC as mentioned on the certificate.

Also, the Board will provide a free sleeper class railway pass for SC/ST candidates. Those who wish to avail of the facility will have to indicate ‘Yes’ in the relevant column in the online application and upload a valid caste certificate.
RRB Recruitment 2025 Registration: Format
The selection process includes four stages — Computer Based Tests (CBT), Physical Efficiency Tests (PET), document verification and medical examination.
There will be negative markings for incorrect answers in the CBT, wherein 1/3rd of the marks allotted for each question will be deducted for each wrong answer.
Shortlisting of candidates for various stages will be based on the normalised marks whenever CBT is conducted in multiple sessions for the same syllabus, however, marks will be normalised for all the stages of the exam involving multiple sessions.
Candidates will have to download the city and date intimations, e-call letters and travel authority (wherever applicable) from the links provided on the official websites of RRBs/RRCs.
RRB Recruitment 2025 Registration: Posting
A railway employee will be assigned to the railway or railway establishment where they were first appointed and will not have the right to transfer to another railway or establishment.
Candidates who are selected and finally appointed will be required to serve in the railway engineers’ unit of the territorial army.
Candidates must have their mobile number and a valid, active personal email address. The RRBs/RRCs will communicate recruitment-related information exclusively through SMS and email until the recruitment is fully completed.
Candidates need to remember that requests to change mobile numbers or email addresses will not be entertained at any stage of the recruitment. Only one online registration is allowed per mobile number and email address under this CEN.
It is advised to aspirants to go through the detailed advertisement, especially through the post parameter table and vacancy table to ascertain eligibility before applying through online mode. The selection of the railway once exercised shall be final.
