Chanakya National Law University (CNLU), Patna, has announced an exciting opportunity for students to join a virtual research internship program under the aegis of the Centre for Advanced Research on Corporate and Insolvency Laws (CARCIL). Internship Overview

The CARCIL Virtual Research Internship Program is designed to immerse students in the practical aspects of corporate law, insolvency, and related legal disciplines. Participants will contribute to ongoing research projects while gaining hands-on experience in areas such as:

Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) and Private Equity/Venture Capital (PE/VC)

General Corporate Law

Capital Markets and Securities Law

Restructuring and Insolvency


Interns will be credited for their contributions in CARCIL’s publications and projects. While the internship is unpaid, successful participants will receive certificates upon completion.

Duration and Commitments

The internship will commence on January 15, 2025, and run for a minimum of eight weeks. Interns must dedicate at least eight hours per week, though the workload may vary depending on assignments, with adjustments made in consultation with participants.

Eligibility Criteria

This opportunity is open to:

1. Undergraduate Law Students: Pursuing 3-year or 5-year programs, preferably with a background in corporate law research.

2. LL.M. Students: Specializing in Corporate, Commercial, or Regulatory Law.

3. Students from Other Disciplines: Including Management, Finance, and Law, with relevant research experience in related fields.
