Chaudhary Mahadeo Prasad Degree College to Host 1st National Moot Court Competition 2025

In celebration of its Diamond Jubilee, Chaudhary Mahadeo Prasad Degree College, affiliated with the University of Allahabad, proudly announces the inaugural Chaudhary Mahadeo Prasad National Moot Court Competition, 2025. The event aims to provide aspiring law students with a platform to showcase their legal acumen, hone their advocacy skills, and engage in competitive legal discourse.

Event Highlights and Purpose:

Quoting Aristotle, "The law is reason, free from passion," the competition is designed to introduce budding lawyers to the world of logic and argumentation. It encourages participants to immerse themselves in the art of legal reasoning and the intricacies of courtroom proceedings.

Awards and Recognition:

Participants stand a chance to win the following awards:

Winner: ₹51,000

Runner-Up: ₹25,000

Best Speaker: ₹7,000

Best Researcher: ₹7,000

Best Memorial: ₹7,000

Eligibility Criteria:

The competition is open to law students enrolled in the 3-year LLB programme or the 5-year integrated law programme from any BCI-recognized institution across the country.

Event Itinerary:

1. Registration Deadline: 16th February 2025

2. Memorial Submission Deadline: 20th February 2025

3. Researcher Test: 22nd February 2025

4. Online Round (Inaugural Ceremony and Preliminary Rounds): 23rd February 2025

5. Hard Copy Submission Deadline: 25th February 2025

6. Offline Round (Quarter Finals, Semi-Finals, Final Round, and Valedictory Ceremony): 8th March 2025

How to Participate:

Participants must complete the registration process by 16th February 2025. The registration link and further details, including the rules, eligibility criteria, and moot problem, are available in the attached prospectus.
