About the 15th GIL Moot Court Competition
The 15th GIL Moot Court Competition, 2025 is a premier event designed to bring together talented law students from across India. The competition has gained a reputation for its challenging and innovative moot propositions, offering participants a platform to debate and analyze critical legal issues.
This year, the moot proposition focuses on the New Criminal Laws 2024, inviting participants to delve into a rigorous analysis of contemporary legal principles, facts, and jurisprudence.
Eligibility and Team Composition
The competition is open to all bona fide students enrolled in either a 3-year LL.B. or 5-year integrated LL.B. program at recognized institutions in India.
Each team must consist of three members: two speakers and one researcher.
Registration Details
The registration fee for the competition is ₹5,500 per team, which includes accommodation and food.
Registration Process:
1. Provisional Registration:
Teams must email their institution’s name, contact details, and team composition to mootcourtsociety@geetalawcollege.in with the subject “Provisional Registration for 15th GIL Moot Court Competition, 2025” by 11th January 2025.
2. Final Registration:
Submit a soft copy of the registration form along with the Demand Draft (or NEFT details) by 25th January 2025.
Submit the hard copy of the registration form and Demand Draft by 1st February 2025.
Payment Details:
The Demand Draft should be drawn in favor of “Geeta Institute of Law”, payable at Panipat.

Runners-Up Team: ₹15,000 + Trophy
Best Memorial: ₹3,100 + Trophy
Best Speaker (Male): ₹3,100 + Trophy
Best Speaker (Female): ₹3,100 + Trophy
Best Researcher: ₹3,100 + Trophy
All participants will receive participation certificates after the valedictory ceremony.
Submission of Memorials
Teams must prepare and submit memorials for both sides.

Hard Copy Submission: By 24th February 2025 (12 copies: 6 from each side).
