CLAT NLU Ranking and Selection 2025
Every year, the NLU selection is done on the basis of the CLAT 2025 cut off marks. The cutoff mark for the CLAT exam are affected due to the following factors:
- The difficulty level of the exam - If the question paper is easy then the cut off is expected to go high and vice-versa
- Total applications received - If the total applications received is less then the cut off is expected to be relaxed
- Total candidates qualifying CLAT exam - If the total number of qualifying candidates is less than the total seats then cut off goes low
- Total number of seats - If the total number of seats is revised and increased then cut off is expected to remain low
- Previous year cut offs - For the top NLUs, the cut-off marks in previous years were high, therefore, only topper candidates could make it for final admissions. Fore other NLUs, the cut off marks are relatively low.
Now, these are the key reasons that have affected the CLAT cut off marks/ranks in the past and are will play a major role this year as well.

Raising objections against the provisional answer key
In case candidates find any mistakes in the CLAT Answer Key released by the Consortium, then they can raise objections against the CLAT provisional answer key 2025.
Final answer key
After considering the objections filed against the provisional answer key, Consortium revises the old answer key and releases a final version of CLAT Answer Key 2025. After this, no answer key will be released. The CLAT Final Answer Key 2025 will be then used for the evaluation process of CLAT Result.
CLAT Result
The answer sheets are evaluated and the result is uploaded on the official website of the Consortium. Candidates can check the CLAT result 2025 by entering their application ID and password
