The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially announced the examination schedule for the UGC-NET December 2024 session. This test, conducted on behalf of the University Grants Commission (UGC), is crucial for aspirants seeking eligibility for Junior Research Fellowships (JRF), appointments as Assistant Professors, or admission to Ph.D. programs.

The upcoming UGC-NET will cover 85 subjects through the Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. According to the official notification, the exams will be held over a span of two weeks, starting from January 3, 2025, and concluding on January 16, 2025. Detailed subject-wise schedules for the examinations can be found in Annexure-I of the notification or in the below mentioned image.



Candidates will be informed about their respective exam cities through the NTA website (https://ugcnet.nta.ac.in) approximately eight days before the scheduled examination date. Aspirants are advised to regularly check the website for updates and important announcements regarding the exam.
