Prayagraj, November 18, 2024 — The University of Allahabad has officially announced that it will remain closed on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, due to the upcoming Vidhan Sabha bye-election. This closure applies to both the university and its constituent colleges.

Exams to Proceed as Scheduled According to the notification issued by the Registrar, if any examinations were previously scheduled for November 20, they will be conducted as planned without any changes. Students are advised to follow their examination timetable.

Issued with Vice Chancellor's Approval The notification has been issued with the approval of the Hon'ble Vice Chancellor of the University of Allahabad. All relevant departments, faculties, and administrative offices have been informed to ensure compliance with this directive.

Circular Distributed to All Departments The circular has been forwarded to the Deans, Department Heads, Principals of constituent colleges, faculty members, and administrative staff, along with the Controller of Examinations and the Public Relations Office for necessary actions. The ICT Cell has also been instructed to upload this notification on the university’s official website.
