University of Allahabad Announces Change in Office Timings for Faculty of Arts on Convocation Day
Prayagraj, November 25, 2024: The University of Allahabad has issued an official notification regarding revised office timings for the Faculty of Arts on account of Convocation 2024.
On Wednesday, November 27, 2024, the offices under the Faculty of Arts will operate from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM instead of regular hours. This adjustment has been made to accommodate the requirements of the convocation ceremony.
It is further clarified that offices of other faculties, apart from the Faculty of Arts, will function as per their usual schedules without any changes.
The notification, approved by the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, has been communicated to all concerned officials, including deans, heads of departments, registrars, and administrative officers. Additionally, it has been requested to upload the notice on the university's official website for wider dissemination.
This step ensures the smooth organization of the convocation while maintaining minimal disruption to administrative work.
