Lecture and Activities Highlight the Day

Prayagraj, 26 November 2024: CMP Degree College celebrated Constitution Day with a series of engaging events organized by the BA LL.B. (Hons.) course, Department of Law, in collaboration with the NCC CMP DC under 6 UP Girls Battalion. The event, held in Room No. 13 of the Law Department, began at 9:00 am and concluded at 1:00 pm.

The program commenced with a Lecture on the Constitution of India, delivered by an expert speaker, shedding light on the significance of the Constitution and its role in shaping the democratic fabric of the nation.

Following the lecture, the day's schedule included:

Quiz on the Constitution of India (10:00 am to 10:10 am)

PowerPoint Presentation by NCC Unit on Women in the Constituent Assembly (10:15 am to 10:35 am)

Reading and Comprehension Test, based on passages from the Constituent Assembly debates and discussions (10:40 am to 11:20 am)

Constituent Assembly Speech Reiteration Competition (11:30 am to 12:30 pm)

Screening of a Documentary on Constitution Day, aired by Rajya Sabha TV (12:40 pm to 12:50 pm)

The program concluded with the Result Announcement by the Chief Guest, followed by a vote of thanks. The Chief Patron of the event was Dr. Sushil Kumar Sinha, Hon'ble Chairman of CMP Degree College, with Dr. Ajay Prakash Khare, Principal, as the Patron.

The event served as a platform to educate and inspire students about the importance of the Constitution and its relevance in everyday life.
