Ewing Christian College Releases Examination Guidelines & Schedule for PG Odd Semester 2024-2025
Prayagraj, November 7, 2024 — Ewing Christian College, an autonomous institution affiliated with the University of Allahabad, has issued detailed guidelines for the upcoming end semester examinations for PG Semester I & III students of the 2024-2025 session. The notification emphasizes adherence to examination protocols to ensure smooth conduct of exams.
Examination Schedule and Entry Guidelines
All students are required to enter the college premises and examination hall as per the seating arrangement, which will be displayed at the main gate of the college on each examination day. Students must report at least 30 minutes before the commencement of their exams. Late arrivals beyond 30 minutes after the examination starts will not be permitted entry.
Strict Requirements for Admit Cards
The notice highlights that entry will only be permitted to students with a valid Admit Card. Admit cards will not be issued without the submission of relevant course fees, so students are urged to clear any pending dues to receive their cards.
In the event that a student arrives without their admit card, temporary permission can be sought from the Registrar’s Office. However, this will require the completion of a form and the payment of a fee of Rs. 50 for a duplicate admit card. It should be noted that students who have not cleared their course fees will not be granted this temporary permission.
Prohibited Items and Examination Conduct
To uphold examination integrity, the college has enforced strict rules regarding items allowed within the examination hall. Students are prohibited from bringing bags, books, notes, mobile phones, smartwatches, and any other electronic gadgets. Possession of any unauthorized material inside the examination venue will be considered as "use of unfair means" and may lead to disciplinary actions as per the college's examination policies.
Guidelines for Exiting the Examination Hall
Once inside the examination hall, students are not allowed to leave the venue earlier than 30 minutes before the conclusion of the examination. This measure ensures that all students comply with the examination rules and maintain order throughout the process.
College Emphasizes Compliance for Smooth Examination Process
The Controller of Examinations, Prof. Justin Masih, has urged all students to carefully read and adhere to these guidelines to avoid any inconveniences on examination days. The college administration is committed to maintaining a fair and disciplined examination environment for all its students.
