85 Students from Maheshwari Prasad Intermediate College Visit University of Allahabad for Educational Excursion


Prayagraj, November 14, 2024: A group of 85 students from Maheshwari Prasad Intermediate College, Alamchand, embarked on an educational visit to the University of Allahabad on Children's Day. The visit provided a valuable opportunity for students to gain insights into various academic departments and centers of the prestigious university.

During the visit, students were introduced to a wide array of subjects, with university experts offering engaging explanations about each department’s significance. The students visited the Early Childhood Care Center, Department of Family and Community Sciences, Biochemistry, and the Zoology Museum, where they learned about scientific advancements and research in these fields.

The tour also included stops at the Botanical Garden of the Botany Department, the historic Vizianagaram Hall, the JK Institute, and the English Department, where they viewed the statue of celebrated author Munshi Premchand. The students explored the Language Labs, Ishwar Topa Auditorium, and the Incubation Center, where a book distribution event was also conducted.

In the Visual Arts Department, students were introduced to the world of creative arts, while in the Department of Ancient History, posters illustrating historical developments were displayed for the students' appreciation. The visit concluded with a tour of the Hindi Department, the iconic Senate Hall, and the Historical Well.

The educational excursion was a part of the college's initiative to enhance the students' exposure to higher learning environments, encouraging them to explore diverse fields of study and career possibilities. The students expressed their excitement and appreciation for the informative experience at the University of Allahabad.
