University of Allahabad Releases 12th List of Shortlisted Candidates for B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) Five-Year Integrated Course

Allahabad, October 14, 2024: The University of Allahabad has announced the provisional merit list for admission to the B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) five-year integrated course for the academic session 2024-25. Candidates are advised to complete the counseling process and submit their fees through the Samarth portal between October 15, 2024 (10:00 AM) and October 16, 2024 (5:00 PM).

The merit list is divided into different categories, including Scheduled Tribe (ST), Scheduled Caste (SC), Economically Weaker Section (EWS), and Other Backward Classes (OBC). The following are key highlights from the list:

1. Scheduled Tribe (ST):

Top candidates include Poonam Dhurve (314 marks) and Anjana Kumari (302 marks).

2. Scheduled Caste (SC):

Akanksha Kumari Saxena secured the highest position with 354 marks, followed closely by Shreyansh Raj Azad with 353 marks.

3. Economically Weaker Section (EWS):

Ankur Shekhar, Adarsh Kumar, and Govind Sinha have each scored 446 marks, marking them as the top scorers in this category.

4. Other Backward Classes (OBC):

The OBC list is topped by Ankit Raj with 413 marks, followed by Aditya Kumar with 412 marks.

The university has emphasized that the admissions will be based strictly on merit and subject to the availability of seats. Candidates are required to complete the admission formalities within the stipulated time to secure their place.

This announcement marks an important step in the admission process for aspiring law students, with the university encouraging candidates to complete all necessary steps promptly.
