The delay in the release of the UGC NET exam results may soon be taken to the Supreme Court. Supreme Court advocate Ujjwal Gaur has come forward in support of the candidates protesting against the prolonged delay. Gaur, a member of the Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) and the Delhi High Court Bar Association (DHCBA), has written a letter to the UGC and the National Testing Agency (NTA), highlighting the significant stress and difficulties students are facing due to the delayed results. He indicated that if the delay continues, he would take legal action to ensure justice for the students.

On the social media platform X, Gaur wrote, "I have formally written to the UGC Chairman and NTA Chairman, urging them to release the UGC NET results immediately. The ongoing delay is a serious violation of students' rights, causing unnecessary hardship. If needed, we are ready to seek judicial intervention. Rest assured, I stand firmly with you in this fight for justice. Stay strong, together we will overcome this!"

Legal Pressure Rises as Students Wait for UGC NET Results

In his letter to the UGC and NTA, Gaur emphasized the academic and professional challenges students are facing due to the delayed UGC NET results. He argued that the delay not only undermines the efforts of students but also violates their fundamental rights under Articles 14 and 19(1)(g) of the Indian Constitution, which guarantee equality before the law and the freedom to pursue any profession. Gaur issued this warning at a crucial time, as several academic and professional vacancies are about to close their application processes. If the results are delayed further, students may miss out on these opportunities.

Candidates Express Their Frustration on Social Media

UGC NET aspirants have been actively voicing their concerns on social media, demanding that NTA and UGC release the exam results. Many have tagged the agencies in their posts, protesting the delays. Candidates expressed frustration, pointing out that the exams were unnecessarily canceled earlier, and now the re-exam results are yet to be declared. They also raised concerns about numerous errors in the answer key, with some claiming that 30 out of 150 answers in certain papers were incorrect. As a result, students are eagerly waiting for both the final results and the corrected answer key.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted the UGC NET June session exam between August 21 and September 4, after the initial exam scheduled for June 18, 2024, was canceled due to suspected paper leaks. However, a subsequent CBI investigation found no evidence of such leaks.

UGC NET Result : UGC NET परीक्षा के रिजल्ट में देरी का मामला कहीं सुप्रीम कोर्ट न पहुंच जाए। सुप्रीम कोर्ट के एडवोकेट उज्ज्वल गौर यूजीसी नेट रिजल्ट में देरी का विरोध कर रहे अभ्यर्थियों के समर्थन में उतर आए हैं। सुप्रीम कोर्ट बार एसोसिएशन (एससीबीए) और दिल्ली हाई कोर्ट बार एसोसिएशन (डीएचसीबीए) के सदस्य उज्ज्वल गौर ने यूजीसी और एनटीए को पत्र लिखकर कहा है कि यूजीसी नेट परिणाम की घोषणा में लंबे समय तक देरी के कारण छात्रों को काफी दिक्कतों और तनाव का सामना करना पड़ रहा है। उन्होंने संकेत दिए कि अगर रिजल्ट में देरी जारी रहती है तो वे छात्रों को न्याय दिलाने के लिए कोर्ट का दरवाजा खटखटाएंगे।

उन्होंने सोशल मीडिया प्लेटफॉर्म एक्स पर लिखा, 'मैंने औपचारिक रूप से यूजीसी के अध्यक्ष और एनटीए के अध्यक्ष को पत्र लिखकर यूजीसी नेट का परिणाम तत्काल जारी करने का आग्रह किया है। लगातार हो रही देरी छात्रों के अधिकारों का गंभीर उल्लंघन है और इससे अनावश्यक परेशानी हो रही है। यदि जरूरत पड़ी तो हम न्यायिक हस्तक्षेप के लिए तैयार हैं। निश्चिंत रहें, न्याय की इस लड़ाई में मैं आपके साथ मजबूती से खड़ा हूं। मजबूत बने रहें, हम सब मिलकर इससे निपट लेंगे!'

यूजीसी और एनटीए को लिखे पत्र में गौर ने यूजीसी नेट रिजल्ट में हो रही लंबी देरी से स्टूडेंट्स के सामने आ रहीं अकादमिक और पेशेवर समस्याओं पर जोर दिया है। उन्होंने कहा है कि परिणाम में देरी न सिर्फ स्टूडेंट्स के प्रयासों को कमतर आंकना है बल्कि यह उनके मौलिक अधिकार (भारतीय संविधान के अनुच्छेद 14 व 19 (1) - जी) का उल्लंघन भी है जो कि कानून के समक्ष समानता और किसी भी पेशे को चुनने की आजादी देता है। गौर ने एनटीए और यूजीसी को ऐसे समय पर चेताया है जब बहुत सी एकेडमिक और प्रोफेशनल वैकेंसी के आवेदन बंद होने वाली है। रिजल्ट में देरी से स्टूडेंट्स उन भर्तियों में आवेदन से वंचित रह जाएंगे।

UGC NET: स्टूडेंट्स सोशल मीडिया पर जता रहे विरोध

UGC NET परीक्षार्थी बीते कई दिनों से सोशल मीडिया पर एनटीए व यूजीसी से यूजीसी नेट रिजल्ट जारी करने की मांग कर रहे हैं। वे एनटीए व यूजीसी को टैग कर देरी पर अपना विरोध दर्ज करा रहे हैं। परीक्षार्थियों का कहना है कि पहले तो बेवजह पेपर रद्द कर दिया गया, फिर अब रीएग्जाम का रिजल्ट जारी नहीं किया जा रहा है। अभ्यर्थियों का कहना है कि आंसर-की में भी काफी गड़बड़ियां थीं, कुछ पेपरों में 150 में से 30 प्रश्नों के उत्तर गलत थे। ऐसे में उन्हें रिजल्ट के साथ साथ फाइनल आंसर-की का भी इंतजार है।

एनटीए यानी नेशनल टेस्टिंग एजेंसी ने 21 अगस्त से 4 सितंबर के बीच जून सेशन की यूजीसी नेट परीक्षा का आयोजन किया था। इससे पहले जून सत्र की यूजीसी नेट परीक्षा का आयोजन 18 जून 2024 को किया गया था लेकिन पेपर लीक होने के संदेह पर इसे रद्द कर दिया गया था। हालांकि बाद में सीबीआई जांच में यह सबूत गलत पाए गए थे।
