Meanwhile, the University Grants Commission (UGC) is set to award ten ‘PhD Excellence Citations’ every year, to recognise “high-quality PhD work among young research scholars.” The citations will be given from next year onwards, and they are set to recognize “outstanding doctoral research,” according to UGC Chairman M Jagadesh Kumar.

They will be awarded for theses across five disciplines – Sciences including Agricultural Sciences and Medical Sciences; Engineering and Technology; Social Sciences including Education and Humanities; Indian Languages; Commerce and Management.

JMI PHD programmes Registration 2024: जामिया मिलिया इस्लामिया यूनिवर्सिटी ने विभिन्न पीएचडी प्रोग्रामों में 2024-25 अकैडमिक सेशन में एडमिशन लेने के लिए ऑनलाइन एप्लीकेशन फॉर्म को आमंत्रित किया है। जो भी कैंडिडेट जामिया मिलिया इस्लामिया यूनिवर्सिटी से पीएचडी करना चाहते हैं वे ऑनलाइन ऑफिशियल वेबसाइट admission.jmi.ac.in पर जाकर 10 अक्टूबर 2024 से लेकर 30 अक्टूबर 2024 तक आवेदन कर सकते हैं।

2. अगर आप नए कैंडिडेट हैं, तो आपको सबसे पहले होम पेज पर दिए गए रजिस्ट्रेशन लिंक पर क्लिक कर, अपना रजिस्ट्रेशन करना होगा।

3. इसके बाद आपको लॉग इन करना होगा और एप्लीकेशन फॉर्म को भरना होगा।

4. इसके बाद आपको मांगे गए जरूरी डॉक्यूमेंट को अपलोड करना होगा।

5. अब आपको एप्लीकेशन फीस जमा करनी होगी और फॉर्म को सबमिट कर देना होगा।

6. अब आप कंफर्मेशन पेज को डाउनलोड कर लीजिए।
