The ideal candidate should possess 3 to 5 years of experience with a solid foundation in media law, intellectual property rights, and contract negotiations specifically within the Indian entertainment sector. This background is crucial for effectively navigating the complexities of legal frameworks in film production and distribution.

 Key Responsibilities

In this role, the candidate will provide essential legal support for the film division at Dharma Entertainment. Responsibilities include:

- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts related to various aspects of content production, such as film distribution and crew/cast agreements.

- Managing No Objection Certificates (NOCs) and Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) to ensure all legal documentation is executed efficiently.

- Coordinating with both internal and external stakeholders to facilitate the smooth execution of legal processes on a daily basis.

- Conducting thorough legal research on copyright laws, intellectual property issues, and compliance with relevant regulatory and film-related regulations.

- Reviewing scripts for potential legal issues and ensuring necessary content clearance is achieved.
