The University of Allahabad has officially declared the dates for Diwali holidays, announcing a break from October 30, 2024, to November 1, 2024. This update modifies any previously scheduled holiday dates, providing students and staff with a clear holiday schedule for the festival of lights.

The University of Allahabad has announced Diwali holidays from October 30, 2024 (Wednesday), to November 1, 2024 (Friday).

Following the Diwali break, November 2 (Saturday) and November 3 (Sunday) will also be non-working days.

Regular University Classes will resume on November 4, 2024 (Monday).

Approval and Distribution

This announcement was made following the approval of the Hon'ble Vice Chancellor. The Registrar’s office issued the notice on October 29, 2024, ensuring all relevant departments and staff members are informed.

Key Recipients for Implementation

The notification was circulated to various departments within the university to ensure smooth implementation. Copies were shared with the deans of faculties, heads of departments, principals of constituent colleges, faculty members, and other administrative personnel. Additionally, the notice has been communicated to the library and examination controllers to manage necessary arrangements during this period.
