AKTU Begins Registration for B.Tech, B.Pharma, and MCA Admissions for 2024-25

Special Counseling in Physical Mode for Vacant Seats; Apply by October 16

Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) has started the registration process for second-year lateral entry admissions in B.Tech, B.Pharma, and MCA courses for the academic session 2024-25. Eligible candidates can apply through the official AKTU website until October 16, 2024.

Admission through CUET

According to AKTU Vice-Chancellor Prof. J.P. Pandey, the special counseling for vacant seats in government and self-financed institutions affiliated with the university will be conducted in physical mode. The admissions for B.Tech and B.Pharma second-year lateral entry will be based on the scores obtained in the CUET-UG (Common University Entrance Test - Undergraduate). For MCA lateral entry, admissions will be based on CUET-PG (Postgraduate).

Physical Reporting and Seat Allocation

The seat allocation and physical reporting for the selected candidates will take place on October 22, 2024.

Seats Available for Lateral Entry

In the second-year B.Pharma program, 12 seats are vacant—9 in AKTU’s Faculty of Pharmacy and 3 in BRD Medical College. Meanwhile, 25 seats are available for the second-year B.Tech program.

 एकेटीयू में शैक्षिक सत्र 2024-25 प्रवेश प्रक्रिया के तहत बीटेक या बीई, बीफार्मा और एमसीए दूसरे वर्ष में दाखिले के लिए पंजीकरण की शुरुआत हो गई है। इच्छुक अभ्यर्थी 16 अक्टूबर 2024 तक आवेदन कर सकते हैं। एकेटीयू की वेबसाइट पर आवेदन करना होगा। कुलपति प्रो. जेपी पांडेय ने बताया कि संबद्ध सरकारी व सरकारी स्ववित्तपोषित संस्थानों में खाली सीटों पर स्पेशल काउंसलिंग फिजिकल मोड में होगी। बीफार्मा व बीटेक द्वितीय वर्ष में प्रवेश वाया सीयूईटी यूजी के जरिए होगा। सीयूईटी पीजी के तहत एमसीए लेटरल में दाखिले होंगे। फिजिकल रिपोर्टिंग, सीट आवंटन 22 को होगा।

लेट्रल इंट्री से यहां प्रवेश बीफार्मा द्वितीय वर्ष में 12 सीटें रिक्त हैं। इसमें एकेटीयू के फार्मेसी संकाय में नौ और बीआरडी मेडिकल कॉलेज में तीन सीट हैं। जबकि बीई या बीटेक द्वितीय वर्ष में 25 सीटें हैं।
