University of Allahabad Announces B.Com. Seat Allotment for 2024-25

Admission Process Based on CUET Scores for Undergraduate Commerce Program

The University of Allahabad has released the seat allotment and counseling schedule for the Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) program for the academic session 2024-25. The admission process will be conducted via the Combined Undergraduate Entrance Test (CUET-UG) 2024, with counseling available only to registered students.

CUET-UG 2024 Scores for Admission

For merit computation, the university will consider CUET-UG 2024 scores in the following subjects:

Language (Hindi or English)

Domain subjects: Accountancy/Bookkeeping

General Test

Candidates who have not appeared in any of these tests will receive zero marks for that section, and admissions will be based on their remaining scores.

Counseling and Seat Allocation Process

Once the merit list is prepared, candidates will be assigned seats based on their performance in CUET-UG 2024. They are required to complete their online counseling through the university’s Samarth portal.

Fee Deposit and Timeline for Seat Confirmation

Students who have been allotted seats must deposit their admission fees within the specified time frame to secure their admission. The fee deposit window is as follows:

UR (General Category): CUET score of 339 and above, from 21/10/2024, 4 PM to 22/10/2024, 11:55 PM.

EWS (Economically Weaker Section): CUET score of 294 and above, same timeline as UR.

SC (Scheduled Caste): CUET score between 184 and 185, with the same fee deposit timeline.
