25th Cutoff for B.Com Admissions 2024-25 Released by Allahabad University

 

The University of Allahabad has released the official notice for the seat allotment and counselling process for the Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) program for the academic session 2024-2025. The admission process is open for students who have appeared in the CUET-UG 2024.

CUET-UG Scores to Determine Admission

The selection process for admission to the B.Com program will be based on the CUET-UG-2024 scores, specifically considering three tests:

1. A language test (Hindi or English)

2. A domain subject (Accountancy or Bookkeeping)

3. The General Test.

Candidates who have not appeared for any of these tests will not be considered, and only the marks from completed tests will be evaluated.

Counselling and Seat Allocation Process

Seats will be allocated based on merit during online counselling. Once seats are allotted, students must deposit their admission fees within the specified time to confirm their admission. The admission fee window will be open from October 19, 2024 (04:00 PM) to October 20, 2024 (11:55 PM).

Merit and Cut-off Marks

The 25th merit or cut-off marks for various social categories are as follows:

UR (Unreserved): 340 marks

EWS (Economically Weaker Section): 295 marks

SC (Scheduled Caste): 186 marks

OBC (Other Backward Class): 277 marks
