University of Allahabad Releases Tentative Holiday List for 2025

Prayagraj, September 12, 2024: The University of Allahabad has released its tentative notification listing holidays for the academic calendar year 2025. The university has outlined a total of 26 holidays, beginning with Makar Sankranti on January 14, 2025 (Tuesday), and concluding with Christmas Day on December 25, 2025 (Thursday).

Key holidays include Republic Day on January 26 (Sunday), Holi from March 13 to March 14 (Thursday and Friday), and a summer break lasting from May 10 to July 4, 2025. Major festivals such as Id-ul-Fitr (March 31), Diwali (October 20-21), and Guru Nanak Jayanti (November 5) have also been recognized.

Additionally, the university has marked a winter vacation from December 20, 2025, to December 31, 2025.
