University of Allahabad Releases Faculty Academic Calendar for Session 2024-25

 

The University of Allahabad has announced its detailed faculty academic calendar for the academic session 2024-25. The calendar outlines the schedules for both semester-based and annual system courses, in alignment with the New Education Policy (NEP) guidelines. It provides clarity on the commencement of classes, exam schedules, and important evaluation deadlines for various semesters and undergraduate programs.

Key dates for the semester-based courses include:

Classes for Semesters III, V, VII, and IX begin on July 9, 2024.

Semester I classes commence on August 20, 2024.

The examination period for Semesters II, IV, VI, VIII, and X is scheduled from April 21, 2025, with results to be evaluated by May 20, 2025.

Courses under the NEP structure follow similar patterns, with specific variations in exam schedules and evaluations. For instance:

Classes for Semester I will begin on September 30, 2024, and Semester III on August 1, 2024.

Examinations for these courses will be conducted from December 12 to December 22, 2024.

The university has also outlined the schedule for the annual system courses. Notably:

Classes for undergraduate Year I will start on September 30, 2024, and Year II on July 9, 2024.

Annual exams for UG II, III, and IV will take place from March 3, 2025, with UG I exams beginning on April 1, 2025.
